I enjoyed this second book in the Carlisle series as much as the first one. There is a flow to the writing that immerses you into the emotional depth in the relationship of the characters.The zany, nosey, crazy, frustrating Carlisle family adds just the right amount of intrusive interventions to add LOL light hearted moments.
This is a very well written series I highly recommend. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series that will take us on the emotional journey with the third Carlisle brother, Dorian.

Jackson Carlisle has got to have the worst luck with both men and women! Jackson arrived home early from his job as a make-up artist to surprise his boyfriend and ended up getting the surprise of his life by walking in on his boyfriend and another man having sex in his bed. Incredibly this isn’t the worst thing to happen, his boyfriend tells him he’s been using his apartment for his own hook-ups because Jackson has a nicer bed than he does!
Needless to say, Jackson is burning his bed and finding somewhere else to live.
Aaron Wilkes is an escort, he dates both men and women when they’re forced to attend functions they can’t or won’t attend on their own. The one thing Aaron doesn’t do is have sex with his clients. Aaron’s best friend Tristan has been Jackson’s sister Georgina’s boyfriend for about a year now and when she contacts him to enquire if she can hire him to play the part of her brother Jacksons boyfriend he must admit, he’s intrigued!
Jackson is completely humiliated when Georgina discusses what she’s done but then he realises that this would be the ideal solution to the potentially untenable situation he knows he’s going to find himself in when his mother realises he still doesn’t have a partner 8 months after breaking up with Angel. Aaron and Jackson have exactly one night to get to know each other before they fly to Hawaii for the family reunion. Thank god Jackson’s brothers and sister know what’s going on so they can back them up. When Aaron meets Jackson, he thinks there must be something funny going on, why else would someone as good-looking as Jackson need to pay an escort to pretend to be his boyfriend? That is until he meets Jackson family!!
So starts the 2 weeks from hell, in paradise.
Jackson doesn’t want to have any more entanglements that will break his heart again so he organizes with Aaron tat they’ll have an emotion free affair. Everything goes as planned until Jackson and Aaron fall in love with each other. They can’t help it, they’re both exactly what the other is looking for in a partner except they’re both too scared to see or admit it to themselves let alone each other. Whilst they’re participating in the family competitions for the family reunion both Jackson and Aaron come to the realization that if they don’t end things now they’re both going to be hurt severely.
I have no hesitation in recommending Will You Be My Escort to everyone. I will say that for you to get the most out of your reading experience you should read the first book, Dinner for One.

Will You Be My Escort is Book 2 in Meg Harding's The Carlisles series. Jackson Carlisle has spent his adulthood ready to meet "the one". He dates men and women and seems to only pick those who aren't "the one" but tries to change himself to make them be it. He wants his HEA. After his latest break-up, he's taken a break from dating, much to the disappointment of his mother. When it comes time for the Carlisle family to head to Hawaii for a family reunion, Jackson's mom tries to set him up with a friend's son or another friend's daughter and Jackson, to save himself from this, tells her he's dating someone. In a panic afterward, he texts his siblings to tell him what he's done and his sister tells him she has a solution. Her boyfriend's best friend works as an escort and he can go and pretend that he's Jackson's boyfriend. Neither Jackson or Aaron expected the attraction to the other and neither were ready for a relationship.
I absolutely love the Carlisle family. They are a large, close-knit, in your business family that loves, respects and accepts each other for the person they are. Jackson is the baby of the family and has let his failed relationships beat him down. He's lost himself in his bid to try to make himself whatever he needed to be for the person he's dating. Aaron is able to show him what a relationship should be like and to teach him that he doesn't need to change for anyone. The scenario for this book, though probably ridiculous to those who don't have large families, was hilarious and light-hearted!
This book was less steamy than book 1, but the main focus was repairing Jackson with the feelings, sex and love coming later. But it's still very enjoyable and I can't wait to read the next book in the series!

Worst book I ever tried to read. The fact that it's written in the present tense doesn't help, but I hadn't any idea whp people were or what the heck was going on. Waste of time.
